Bedroom Wall insulation against heat

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have a bedroom wall on the 2nd floor that is exposed to the sun for 6 hours in the afternoon. This makes the wall and the bedroom really hot in the evening. The wall is the pre-cast type and it retains heat.

Due to the small size of the bedroom, I have no choice but to put the bed against that wall and the heat is simply unbearable.

Does any one has any ideas on how to insulate the wall interior to reduce the heat and what products to use?

Thanks for your suggestions.

???? not to sustainable for a long time.

What he might want, is to stop the radiation, and without knowing the house standard, ownership, neighbours, it is hard to suggest anything.

Quick fix is to make a double wall with airspace between.

More worthy solutions is to spend money on insulation with high R factor
