As long as Biden keeps lying and the WH keeps changing their stories when caught in their lies and when Biden starts to cooperate with the investigation  there will always be the need to take this to an impeachment inquiry to verify the evidence of corruption, bribery, money laundering, FARA violations and any other acts of criminal behavior including tax evasion and so on, the congressional oversight committee owes this to the American public. By lying, stonewalling, refusing to comply with subpoenas there is little choice but to pursue the inquiry. If Biden is innocent, now would be the time to start cooperating.

When will, the GOP majority in the house have a vote on it like McCarthy said they would 2 weeks ago?

And you can surely believe everything that comes out of the White House, can't you? You could stake your life on what Honest Joe Biden says. Honesty that's Joe's middle name ????

Vote on what? Inquiry, articles...??

Whatever you like to call it. Most call it a qanon delusion. Some call it an impeachment. A full house vote will kill it stone dead. They GOP don't want the actual hearing, they just want the  never ending investigation. Hey, Benghazi! (TM) worked.

There probably wont be an impeachment, the inquiry will be sufficient to get past the coverup and stonewalling by the Biden admin and DOJ. Nobody wants an impeachment, and it won't be needed. Subpoenas to Biden family member's for bank records, tax returns, etc and to testify under oath, and all the email and docs currently under subpoena being withheld could spell the end for the Biden crime family. U can expect this to go down any day now but no later than Oct 31. Trouble is coming for Biden, take it to the bank. This inquiry just supercharged oversights subpoena powers big time.

Here ya go:

The Trump-era opinion that might stymie the Biden impeachment inquiry

"A Trump-era opinion issued by the Justice Department Office of Legal Counsel is being highlighted as a possible barrier for House Republicans in their impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden...

"The Constitution vests the 'sole Power of Impeachment' in the House of Representatives ... For precisely that reason, the House itself must authorize an impeachment inquiry, as it has done in virtually every prior impeachment investigation in our Nation's history, including every one involving a President," Steve Engel, a top lawyer for the department, wrote in the opinion.

How about this:

"The White House is urging news outlets to ramp up scrutiny of the House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry into President Biden. It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies,” Ian Sams, a spokesman for the White House Counsel’s Office, wrote in the draft letter, which is expected to be sent on Wednesday.

This was sent by White House spokesperson Ian Sams.

https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/12/media/white-house-letter-news-executives/index.html

I did not see any reference to what specifically qualifies as "lies" and none are articulated there or anywhere I have seen.

Remember the lies told and still being told by Dem Adam Schiff about all the direct "smoking gun" evidence of Trump's Russian collusion, except there was no evidence and there never was. Classic example of bonafide Dem lying campaigne.

What goes around is starting to come around for Biden and his cabal and I would say they are in panic mode and should be.

It just seems funny seeing someone accuse the opposition of the lyingest lying president the US has ever had of being a liar. That's projection and irony at its finest.

Dem led house oversight already opened a probe into Kushner's KSA business ventures in June 2022.  Keep in mind Kushner unlike your boy Hunter did not amass an impressive business acumen and crack addiction while committing felonies by lying on a gun application. Hunter's a bad boy and not so smart, same like his Pop.

https://news.yahoo.com/house-oversight-committee-launches-probe-160403557.html

Keep in mind that Jared Kushner, unlike Hunter Biden, was an actual government official whose special purview was the Middle East where he was in close communication, with MBS, the defacto leader of Saudi Arabia. Kushner consistently defended MbS conduct. In addition, Kushner's family was nearly bankrupted by a terrible investment made by Kushner. They were bailed out at least in part (most of the details of the deal are hidden) by a major investment from the government of Qatar. A deal which made absolutely no business sense. Kusher also had extensive official dealings with the government of Qatar.

And despite Kushner's disastrous investment history, he received 2 billion dollars from the Saudis, even though the Saudi investment advisors recommended against it. The Saudis only gave 1 billion to Peter Mnuchin, the former Secretary Treasurer, even though he's an experienced investor with a long record of successful investments.

I think most likely it would be impossible to make a legal case of corruption against Kushner and Mnuchin. Certainly, it's ethically corrupt. And such arrangements ought to be made illegal.

Why doesn't the House committee just subpoena Hunter Biden? I find it very strange. It looks like they don't want to do it for some reason.

How horrible it must be to go on a forum and try and equate alleged "crimes" by president biden with the indicted crimes of trump.  So what's the difference between alleged and indicted?

Uh duh indicted means that real evidence was presented in four different locations to four different grand juries and in all four cases the grand jury looked at the real evidence, not a bunch of BS allegations, and concluded that there was indeed sufficient real evidence to bring 91 felony indictments....and of course most of the real evidence came from hard core life long republicans along with emails, texts, documents, audio and video much in trumps own words.

Hard as it is for republicans to grasp trump was not indicted on hearsay, conspiracy theories, fox news talking points.  He was indicted because he left behind a trail of evidence a mile long of his criminal activities.  Now we will let the courts decide how strong that evidence actually is in a series of trials.

I guess if ole sleepy incompetent Joe was able to pull off all these massive alleged crimes with hunter biden an admitted crack head and not leave a shred of evidence then ole sleepy joe must really be much sharper than trump who couldn't cover up his crimes with a bucket of sand.

Could it be that in spite of his bravado trump is not "really really smart"?

Didn't H Biden sue Comey? What happened to that?

Interested in hearing why anybody would think someone bribing would leave a bank trail?

Sooner or later there will be a full House vote on this and that will be the end of it. Why do you think McCarthy reneged on a full vote now?

You can keep watching CNN, even they are reporting Biden's pathological liar status now.

But lies like this while self glorifying are basically harmless. But lies about elections, about health care, lies that slander others, lies to criminal investigators, are far more serious offenses.

The writings on the wall, Biden's done! Who can disagree with that..........simply the people who know that Fox News is a GOP mouthpiece that defended a huge lawsuit by stating that "nobody is foolish enough to believe the news on Fox as it isn't real news, just one persons opinion" or words to that effect.

So believe Faux News if you are foolish enough!!

What will you do if any part of what Fox says is true?

Let’s just make allegations, any allegation no matter how baseless, no matter zero evidence despite months spent trying to find evidence.

Then let’s pretend those allegations are deserving of more congressional scrutiny, more tax dollars spent.

It’s not like Republicans could be using their time in Congress for anything that might improve America and tge lives of Americans.

You mean like the two failed impeachments against Trump by the dems???  Right?

Trump was impeached twice, his impeachments are on the record.

Republicans in the Senate voted not to convict, they are now paying the price for having done so.

As mitt Romney said there were many republicans willing to impeach but they fear for their families safety ,not everyone can afford to pay 5,000$ a day out of pocket for private security like mitt can

They had their chance to kill the snake in their living room and move on....but they all hid under their desks and the snake lived to strike again and will eventually bite them all in the rear end.

Maybe it's time for someone to publish  a book...."Republicans Profiles in Courage".

It would have all blank pages.

The term "impeachment" is commonly used to mean removing someone from office, but it actually refers only to the filing of formal charges.

So the dems filed formal charges twice and failed TWICE... just as I stated.
