I have regained my normal weight now Sheryl and the docs can find no reason for my immune system to be comprimised but I have to have one more immu test apparently. I eat well but not a lot! Cultures were near impossible to grow they said. I think it must be MDR but they still have me on the 'normal' regime so I don't know really. I want to have the surgery now because I really don't think I could live with this coming back again, it made me so dreadfully weak that I more or less gave up and wanted to die. But now I am stronger and want to get rid of the cavity.

Glad to hear your weight is back up. With this and normal immune function, you should be able to weather the surgery OK and look forward to finally being permamnetly cured.
