Police have arrested a teenage gunman after a Chinese, and a Myanmar national were shot and killed at the Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok yesterday afternoon,  five others were injured.


Hundreds of people, including children, were seen screaming and running into the streets after gunshots were heard just after 4pm, the gunman kept firing as he went to the second floor..and then up to the 3rd floor where he was apprehended by police.


The shooter was just 14 years old and had been receiving psychiatric treatment. While many shoppers fled, others hid inside the store for over an hour before making their way outside.

 

Part of the roof at bangkok Hua Mark Stadium collapsed last night just minutes before an event was due to take place, injuring several media personnel.   The collapse followed heavy rain which is believed to have caused a beam to come down, The sports event was cancelled and moved to another location.

Fire damaged two out of three buildings inside Khlong Prem Central Prison in Bangkok' last night. It took firefighters two hours to bring the blaze under control, there were no injuries reported.
