Cambodia attracts $3.76 billion investment in the first 9 months, an increase of 8.6 percent

PHNOM PENH, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia attracted fixed-asset investment of 3.76 billion U.S. dollars in the first nine months of 2023, up 8.6 percent from 3.46 billion dollars over the same period last year, a Council for the Development of Cambodia's report showed on Saturday.

 

The Southeast Asian nation approved 191 investment projects during the January-September period this year, up 27 percent from 150 projects over the same period last year, the report said. Five top foreign investors to Cambodia were from China, Malaysia, British Virgin Islands, Singapore and Vietnam.
