I never heard of Cameron Highlands when I was living there in the 1950s, but there was a place called Fraser's Hill which is apparently a smaller version, where I was taken on holiday. Most boring week of my life. -

If you go to places like Phuket it's no wonder the locals appear unfriendly. There is an entire country with friendly locals, but you will never see it if your idea of Thailand is Bkk and Phuket ( LOL ). -

So, the price of wine is by which all prices are judged? Seriously? The room I stayed at in Penang was way more expensive than an equivalent in Thailand. Food was more expensive, even satay which is a common Malayan food. I used to eat it in Johor Baru when I was staying there for a weekend and very nice it was too. Satay is way cheaper in Thailand. It was so expensive in Penang that I didn't bother. -

Elon Musk didn’t hold back when reacting to a recent “Saturday Night Live” episode that poked fun at him. The billionaire took to X, his social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to respond to the show’s cold opening, where Dana Carvey portrayed Musk in a comedic sketch that also showcased support for President-elect Donald Trump. In another comment, Musk questioned Carvey’s impersonation skills, writing, “Dana Carvey just sounds like Dana Carvey.” He further noted, “They are so mad that @realDonaldTrump won @nbcsnl,” seemingly suggesting that the show’s creators were unhappy with Trump’s victory. Carvey’s impression was part of an episode hosted by comedian Bill Burr, where the cold opening took a lighthearted approach to the election’s aftermath. In his role as Musk, Carvey quipped, “America’s going to be like one of my rockets,” referencing Musk’s SpaceX ventures. “They’re super cool and super fun, but there’s a slight chance it could blow up and everybody dies. Oh I'm sure the THAIS are sooooo sorry that they don't all learn English for your benefit. Perhaps you are not aware of this, but Malaya was run by the British for over a century, while THAILAND was never colonised. -

Sooooo, you visit Phuket, the <deleted> hole of Thailand and Bkk and claim that the entire country is the same. Try visiting other parts of the country outside cities for a change of attitude.
