Scroll Up/Fast Up Button missing again

So, every time we have maintenance done the fast return button gone missing again.

The fast scroll up button has been deprecated by the author. This means the button will not work with the latest version of the forum software that we now have.

 

I am looking for an alternative, but so far I haven't found a good candidate.

Use the "home" button, if you have one, on your keyboard.  It does the same job.

Not every keyboard has a "Home" button.

Forum support are talking about a software solution which ALL users can make use of as before!

Not at all. The 'Scroll Up' arrow is part of this forums software. The keyboard Home button works directly on the browser and will go to top of page on any site.

But as I have tried to explain to a certain poster (actually all posters) not every desktop/external keyboard or small laptop has that button/functionality!
