I’m going to visit uk next year august / September time to see family and just want to know how long in advance i can get a single re entry permit.

I know i can get at airport but i wanted to ask can i get the permit when i do my extension of stay in February or is that too early.

Yes. They are valid for 1 year. I just checked my last one to make sure.

It's not too early.

It's always valid until the end of your current extension.

SO: first do your one year extension and after that apply for the re-entry permit (same visit).

If your new extension ends in February 2024 the re-entry permit will be valid until then.
