UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will the Internal Security Operations Command be dissolved as the army-led agency will be obliged to play more government-assisting roles, according to Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.

The prime minister confirmed today (Oct.31) the Pheu Thai-led government has had no intent to dissolve the ISOC but planned to assign more diverse roles for the agency though the Move Forward, the largest opposition party, might be currently seeking popular support for legislation to dissolve it.

Srettha said the army-led ISOC under care of the Prime Minister’s Office will take part in implementing government measures to provide more agricultural land for farmers and villagers in all regions of the country in addition to the agency’s regular missions to help restore public peace and order, especially in turbulent southernmost areas.

Every time this PM talk it gets more and more clear that this government tasks is not for the best of the masses, only for the few.

This new government's relationship with the military is very defined.

land giveaways and cash donations via digital wallet.

and the hook is simply the same old populist policies that characterize any Thaksin government.

This however is a fine example of placating interests on both ends of the specturum.

And there you have it...

PM knows ISOC is not his tool. It's the other way around.

And did anyone think that it would be anything else.

The military is the only reason that the Pheu Thai and Sretha (soon to be ING ING) are in power.

They can not afford to upset any part of the coalition.
