Not legal at all... It is a gun the same as any. Uses bullets 22c I think... 

What amazes me is that not a single reply to this OP addressed the fact that these are kids in school albeit happened while driving. 14 years old carrying the weapon. Is Thai society really that bad whereas a child.. barely a teenager, feels the need to carry a weapon around with them that can kill someone. Where in the report does it say charges for the weapon and discharging it come into play? Parents need to be held responsible for this.. Yet eve the article leaves me to think noone cared or thinks about the possibilities of what this kid would do with that penguin.
