BANGKOK (NNT) - Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has been scheduled to appear in a special broadcast titled "Chance of Possibility: From Policy to Actual Implementation in 60 Days Under the Government of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin" on November 9.

According to Government Spokesperson Chai Wacharonke, the program will air at 7:00 PM on NBT2HD, and NBT11, as well as online platforms including Facebook and YouTube, and on Srettha’s Facebook page.

During the broadcast, the Premier is expected to discuss the accomplishments of his administration and the impacts of their efforts on the citizens, marking the 60-day milestone of a government that prides itself on being "of the people, for the people."

With a focus on swift and strategic wins, Srettha is also expected to highlight the government’s core objectives of reducing expenses, increasing income, and expanding opportunities for the Thai people. The emphasis will be on stimulating significant economic growth, reducing social inequalities, and elevating the standard of living for the nation’s populace.

PM to Showcase Two Months of Govt Achievements

This sounds like the beginning of one of those "Shortest books ever written..." jokes.

I'm surprised he doesn't need to form a committee to talk about which achievements will be "showcased".

For any government anywhere in the world to boast about their 'achievements' after only 2 months is ridiculous.  Even in effective, well-managed societies anything worth boasting about takes months and months and years and years ...

But then there's the announcement-as-achievement syndrome, strong everywhere but perhaps stronger in symbolism-laden Thailand.

Achievement No 1, Thaksin home scot free! :jap:

Boy, your right about this.......Mr Smiley does not have time to run Thailand while doing his nonstop world tours since he has been in office......So in other words folks his only job is to be there for the photo ops.....

A showcase of hot air all done with the use of smoke and mirrors.

I guess he could outline his whistle stop tour of the globe begging leaders for investment?

The only achievement i see is the amount of air miles he has collected whilst PM

More self backslappin' & self congratulations.

Rivetting stuff.🙃🙃

Yeah, like a '70's Jerry Lewis Sretta hosted tv telethon, musical acts, a "who fell asleep this year" in memorial bit, guest stars. Video cross to the Thakster, can't be there in person, he's filming his latest movie. They will need a named band.

Not that I like the Shinawatra government, but they publish lots of information about what they are doing and what they plan to do.

That is a lot better than previous government who published little about their activities.

Welcoming airport commissionaire for Chinese folk........ :guitar:

wonder is any of his recent news worthy moments will be "Showcased"

last week he was "setting the record straight"
few days ago he was "denying he is a puppet"
yesterday he was such a mensch that he "scoffs at death threats"

:clap2: Well done

Yes, the generals had no 'political' instincts, just the need to control. And a 'PM' snapping at the press in front of the cameras - never a good look. Basically they had no idea.

(As the English Queen Mum used to say: Whatever happens, just keep smiling and waving.)

They are Thai, cannot stand criticism and they must brag at every opportunity.

There are so many notable achievements it will be difficult to narrow down the list.  Let's give it a try anyway.

1. Stealing the election.

2. Bringing back the PT party owner, a convicted criminal.

3. Miscalculating the cost of the digital wallet.

4. Seizing large quantities of BB guns that were lawfully imported in order to keep chinese tourists safe from BB guns.

5. Giving visa free travel to Kazakh tourists.

6. Reviving the land bridge project for the Nth time.

I could go on but....

Smug, greedy, well-fed flat face people have invented a language to conceal their sins. The fact remains you will never be able to understand any of it, as simple as that.

7. Reneging on the minimum wage promise.

And, his greatest achievement ...

8. Tallest PM in Asia.
