The Thai PM has hit back at suggestions that Chinese police officers could soon be patrolling the streets of Thailand. Srettha Thavisin was responding to a statement from Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, when he explained away what he described as a miscommunication.

Thapanee had previously implied that having Chinese police on patrol in the kingdom would be one possible option to boost confidence among Chinese tourists.

“The cooperation will focus on certain periods in some locations which draw a lot of Chinese visitors.”

Isn´t that the normal thing that police should do ? Exchange information with their foreign counterparts if there is a crime commited by a foreign criminal   ?:guitar:

On a daily basis it is becoming more and more apparent that Sretta is not the leader that Thailand required at this time. He seems to lack the ability to communicate effectively, and his leadership does not inspire confidence.

He also wasn't chosen by the people to be PM.

And before anyone comes along to say the the UK PM also wasn't chosen by the people, there is a difference. In one of the instances it wasn't because the election result and will of the people was ignored.

O

Another u turn from  Thaskins puppet

I think everyone knew this was DoA as soon as they heard it.

Odd that it took ~ 36 hours for the PM to walk it back.

Gaffe, after gaffe after gaffe. He's starting to look silly. Time for the A-Team.

This new prime minister's office seems to have severe infection of diarrhea of the mouth , which often progresses to the more dangerous hoof and  mouth disease.

It is my medical opinion that they should keep well hydrated, and wear oversized clown shoes, which would make it more difficult, (though not impossible judging by the size of their big mouth) , to stick their foot in their mouth.

Srettha needs to gag some of his officials who seem to talk too much
