Motorbike accident near central Thailand temple sparks police investigation

A motorbike accident involving two fatalities occurred at around 2.30am today on the Bang Khan-Nong Suea road in Pathum Thani. The deputy chief of the Khlong Luang Police Station, Police Lieutenant Colonel Siroj Naenian, revealed that a pickup truck had collided with a motorbike, resulting in the death of the two male motorbike riders.

 

The motorbike accident occurred near the Dhammakaya temple intersection, roughly 200 metres from the Khlong Luang Police Station. The scene was attended by medical personnel from the Thammasat University Hospital and volunteers from a local charity.

 

The motorbike, a red Honda Click with licence plate 4Kot-3220, was found overturned near the scene. The two men, who were not wearing helmets, were estimated to be between 25 to 35 years old.
