Members of the public are advised to wear face masks, maintain social distancing in crowded places and where air circulation is poor and wash their hands frequently, citing a rising trend in COVID-19 infections.

Dr Manoon Leechawengwongs,  expert in respiratory diseases at Vichaiyut Hospital in Bangkok, said in his Facebook post on Thursday that 545 COVID-19 cases were reported in November alone, citing data on respiratory disease cases at Vichaiyut Hospital.

The data for November also shows 304 cases of influenza, 33 cases of human metapneumovirus (hMPV), 17 cases of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), 46 cases of dengue fever, 4 cases of chikungunya and 13 cases of norovirus.

He said that COVID-19 infections are steadily rising and have already outpaced influenza.

Dr Manoon said that he is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in December closely, which will give a clearer picture about whether infections will continue to rise.

Nope, done with the masking forever unless the Bubonic plague returns. I'm depending on my body's immune system, I'm not going to be cowering like little man scared of zombies, for the rest of my life

A respiratory expert issues a warning as Covid-19 cases soar, surpassing even the flu.

Renowned respiratory specialist, Dr Manoon Leechawengwongs, dropped a bombshell on social media, sounding the alarm on the escalating Covid crisis. Hailing from Vichaiyut Hospital in Bangkok, he disclosed a staggering 545 cases in November alone, divulging the unsettling statistics in a Facebook post yesterday, December 7.

November’s chilling report not only exposes the ominous rise in Covid but paints a gloomy picture of respiratory health overall. Dr Manoon’s findings reveal a grim tapestry of afflictions:

Covid-19: 545 cases
Influenza: 304 cases
Human Metapneumovirus (hMPV): 33 cases
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV): 17 cases
Dengue Fever: 46 cases
Chikungunya: 4 cases
Norovirus: 13 cases

Dr Manoon, the voice of reason amid the storm, underscores the relentless ascent of coronavirus, surpassing the notorious flu. In a gripping statement, he warns:

“We are witnessing a steady surge, and the battle against Covid-19 has already taken precedence over influenza.”

So which of the above fared worse off, statistics sometimes doesn't tell us.

Not a very smart comment to make, maybe wearing masks  is your thing but don't think for a moment that the world is clean of Covid, far from it, i went through the 2-3 year of the Covid period without a hitch but got a very bad one 2 months ago spending 2 weeks in hospital, so there...

Next door the daughter came home from school about a two weeks ago, hacking cough, headaches and phlegm.

Last week mother was the same, now grandmother has started, all three hacking coughs all day long.

Just saying...

I still like to keep out the air-borne pollution when I'm outside.

Covid is here to stay but is mostly hardly more serious than influenza. It looks like there is a need to scare people again, since a scared population is easiest to control.

so a lot of people got a cough?  and back at it in a week?

Flu numbers down? (that happens when you rename it). See CDC data where year of "covid" that had to publicly display that there was no "flu" that year, down roughly the covid numbers.

This is even their  data not conjecture.

Similar useful advise is to erect a chainlink fence around your house to keep the mosquitos out.

I was not aware that the Thai's had stopped wearing masks?

So 545 cases among 71 million plus however many millions TAT dreamed up visited in November. I'm not leaving the house until Thailand is safe again.

How many studies have to be published to confirm that face masks don’t stop the spread of any virus.

Well..a few guys in my condo complex never stopped wearing them. Even during workout or in the swimming pool, hardly being able to breath🙄🙄 Would be interesting to know, if they still follow the suggestions from back in the dark Covid days to wear a mask during sex with their partner.

Pretty normal when the temperature drops at this time of year. Anywhere. Of course, people are free to make a choice between living behind an uncomfortable mask and maybe catching something or not. As most people don't catch something, I'll go with doing without.

Thailand is pretty sparse in the details they release about such things. But the U.S. provides very detailed info on just that point:

Deaths and hospitalizations from COVID long have and continue to far outpace those associated with the flu.

Jabs, masks, and social distancing have all been proven to have little impact on the likelihood of catching Covid even during the height of the pandemic so me, gonna rely on my natural immunity and lots of vitamin D.

Recent report from Norwegian scientific study confirms people wearing masks had a higher rate of COVID infection than those without. However as it doesn't follow the narrative you won't find it I MSM.

Was NEVER intended to protect yourself with a mask.
