The Ministry of Public Health dismissed the cancellation of new year celebrations in Thailand due to the purported spread of a new Covid-19 variant, XBC, as fake news. No unusual outbreaks or dangerous variants have been reported.

 

A Thai Facebook user recently reported that the government was planning to cancel all new year holiday events due to the spread of the new Deltacron XBC variant. The user stated that Deltacron XBC spreads more easily and quickly than the previous variants and is three times more dangerous than others.

 

The fake news sharer also added that many Thai people had been infected with deltacron XBC. The post included statistical and random studies that were supposedly published by Chulalongkorn University to make the information reliable.

Many netizens shared the messages, causing many people to panic about another outbreak and some to worry about their businesses during the high season at the end of the year.

That was a hospital doctor being silly. You’ll always get them with their agenda, along with numpties spreading fake news and people in general being scared rabbits. It should be monitored, but the best way to deal with this nonsense is to simply get on with your life.

The 1st part might be the case but as for being 3 times more dangerous is rubbish. A quick google search shows it's just another mild variant.

Public Warned To Not Believe Covid Fake News

THE Thai government warned people not to believe nor share fake news that New Year’s festivities have been cancelled because of an outbreak of a new Covid-19 variant Deltacron (XBC), Naewna newspaper said this morning (Dec. 9).

 

Mr. Karom Phonphonklang, deputy spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, said a fake post has been shared on social media with the government not having made such an announcement.

 

He emphasised that this is fake news with there being no abnormal Covid outbreak nor has it mutated again triggering a dangerous strain.

 

The government has not cancelled New Year festivities and people are urged to neither believe this fake message nor forward it in order to not spark a panic.

We're all gonna die ! 

Although subsequent variants have shown themselves to be more virulent than previous variants, so far every subsequent variant has been weaker than the original Delta. Covid is obviously a very clever virus, and continues to figure out ways to spread, however the fatalities are dropping consistently and there's no reason for any of us to be fearful at this point.

 

It's endemic, it's part of life and personally I'm will remain dependent on my immune system at this point, no more boosters, and no more masks for me.

Yes, the Branch Covidians will always be with us, attributing their survival to masks and needles whilst ignoring the fact that the "winter of death" never arrived for the uninjected.  

 

The best way to deal with those clowns is to ask two simple questions that put the covid debacle into perspective:

 

What was the case mortality rate of Sars CoV2?  

What was the average number of comorbities for those who died *with* Sars CoV2?

 

The results can be found with a simple search and the numbers are not in dispute.  The problem with the "case mortality rate" is that many people caught covid but it was never confirmed by a test, which makes the case mortality rate (around 2.3 percent) artificially high.

Everybody that I know who has had the "vaccine" including myself has contracted covid.   I also know many who have not had the vaccine, and not one of them has had covid.

To this day the most bizarre aspect of masking is wearing a mask outside, near the beach when there are no people around, or wearing a mask on a motorbike. I have rarely ever seen anything so silly and unscientific in my life, that is pure fear, unless they're in Bangkok and they're wearing the mask to ward off pollution, which 99% aren't.

my personal favorite being those who wore masks whilst alone in their cars. although to be fair I think it was an enforced legal requirement to do so in Thailand.   

Another was the requirement to wear one when standing in a restaurant but being allowed to remove it when sitting down. and who could forget the night time curfews.   Did some really believe covid was more prevalent after 9pm

To this day I see entire groups of people walking into a restaurant with their  masks on, in an outdoor restaurant where there's plenty of ventilation. They sit at the table with masks on and as soon as the food arrives they remove their masks, and start passing the food around using their own spoons to get the food from the dishes. Hello! If you are afraid of catching covid, is this using good sense and reason?

It was comedy gold during what should have been "the winter of death" for those of my ilk, as my injected family members succumbed to 4 covid infections during the winter and spring after their "vaccinations " while I didn't have any after my initial illness in November of 2019. 

 

My family members messaged me every few hours after I'd spent an evening with them in close quarters.  They got sick and I remained healthy.  To be fair, they were coerced into taking the injections by their employers.  Once injected, they joined the Branch Covidians and preached the gospel until their second bout with the "deadly" disease. I remained healthy throughout and tended them whilst they coughed up the contents of their lungs into the air I breathed. 

 

My understanding is that the uptake of booster shots is less than 3 percent, with most of those being forced injections on people living in care homes.  All of you so called "vaccinated" people are only as good as your last injection.  Not boosted?  You're filth in the eyes of Fauci et al.

Ah yes common sense and reason,  I remember those rather important qualities that most people used to posses.  But unfortunately as we both know they were the  first victims of covid.  Closely followed by free speech and the economies of most nations  It has been ,probably, one of the most bizarre things we will ever experience,

My faith / trust in the media was always fragile but it has been completely destroyed now (probably not a bad thing)  Also a little more worryingly I have a lot less respect for the medical profession,  and a total disdain for anybody described as an "expert" they should be shot on sight.
