At 8:00 AM on December 19, 2022, Lieutenant Colonel Chanaroditch Theentong, the on-duty officer at Ratchaburi City Police Station, received a report of a fatal collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle. The incident occurred on the bypass road of Ratchaburi City, near mile marker 5 in Don Tako sub-district, Muang district, Ratchaburi province.

The officer promptly arrived at the scene with personnel from the Buddhachinaraj Foundation and medical staff from Ratchaburi Hospital's emergency department, reported Siam Rath.

They discovered a white Toyota pickup truck with extensive front-end damage and a young female nursing student, identified as Miss Warisara, aged 22, who tragically lost her life. The driver of the motorcycle, Mrs. Chuanpith, aged 55, sustained moderate injuries.

Further investigations revealed that Mrs. Chuanpith was Warisara's mother and was driving her daughter to Ratchaburi Hospital for her nursing internship. As they exited their residence, a speeding pickup truck collided with their motorcycle, causing the tragic incident. The driver of the pickup, Mr. Anan, aged 44, fled the scene, hindering contact attempts.

Law enforcement is actively pursuing Mr. Anan for legal proceedings, while the deceased's body undergoes additional examinations at Ratchaburi Hospital to determine the exact cause of death before being handed over to relatives for religious ceremonies.
