This project, aligned with the Smart Safety Zone concept, focuses on key tourist destinations before expanding nationwide. It involves creating a network that encompasses various sectors within the community, reinforcing security measures for short-term tourists. Lt. Col. Man Rotthong emphasized the importance of community involvement in ensuring tourist safety, especially during peak periods. The initiative encourages cooperation between Tourist Police and local communities, promoting positive interactions with visitors. Man further highlighted that the Pattaya Tourist Police are committed to aligning with the government's tourism stimulation efforts. Given the insufficient number of on-duty officers relative to the increasing tourist influx, the collaboration with the community becomes imperative for effective safety management. As the government endeavors to drive tourism growth, the Pattaya Tourist Police's proactive measures underscore the significance of community engagement in reinforcing safety and fostering a positive image of tourism in the city.
