I ran CCleaner and Storage sense and it deleted all my downloads

Hi,

 

A couple of days ago I ran CCleaner ....  and at some time recently I ran the Windows 10 Storage sense ....

 

anyway,  I noticed today all my downloads are gone.   I have used them both before without them deleting my downloads.  

 

what a mess ......    ahhhrrrr

yes ...  maybe the downloads box was checked ...

normally I tend to not look each time as especially if it's been fine before ....

Yes, it has happened to me too.

For some reason or other, the customized selections are lost.

Believe me, it can be worser, this week I was thinking to erase a DVD+RW, but I erased a whole HDD, accidentally.

Before that, download "recuva" by Piriform and get your files back.

 

 

might not be possible depending on the settings option.
