webfact Posted January 2 Share Posted January 2 Phuket – Phuket has announced in total 26 road accidents with 27 injuries in four days (December 29th, 2023 – January 1st, 2024) of the New Year Seven Day Road Safety campaign (December 29th, 2023 to January 4th, 2024). The Phuket Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) Office told the Phuket Express on Tuesday (January 2nd) details on the fourth day of the safety campaign (January 1st). Multiply the 26 accidents by a factor of between 8 and 10 to get to the true numbers. I live in beachside Rawai and hear every day at least 3 Ambulances sirens blaring at different times.
