But if you have the money sod in the US stops the muddy mess quickly and looks great in a few weeks. Best to amend the soil prior and make sure there won't be settling. If any deep trenches try to water and settle those first. Really no different up keep than an established lawn. Sounds like they just want your mowing, fertilizing, and herbicide contract.
