There were Thai hostages released already. I don't know if there was a ransom involved, officially there was not. More likely that the one assumed held by Hamas are either not in Hamas hands (other organization or 'lost' in the mayhem). Another real possibility is that they are no longer alive.

Yes

I believe there was an article stating 159,000 tourist visited Thailand from Israel in a 9 month period, that might end up being zero pretty soon, I wonder how many Palestinians visit Thailand and spend equivalently.

Both of them.

Since when has there been such an entity?

Since 2012

Hamas is not 'the Palestinian government'. Hamas rules the Gaza Strip, the PA runs the West Bank and is the officially recognized representative (or government) of the Palestinians. The Ambassador, for example, would be a PA appointment.

It's complicated.

If you are occupied since 80 years....how would you feel? Enough is enough? Or say thank you, we don't need freedom?

They had opportunities for a separate state and turned them down. And they have never offered to give up the official policy of calling for the eventual destruction of Israel and the death of all the Jews.

More of your fact free nonsense.

Israel was not even founded 80 years ago.

The Israeli occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip - 57 years ago (and before that, Egyptian and Jordanian occupation).

Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip on 2005.

The PA's policy is about a two-state solution. Or else it wouldn't be around. Adopting this policy is what made its creation possible.

The Palestine govt that has embassies is the PA, or Fatah which is nominally in charge of the West Bank.  Fatah was given control of Gaza b Israel when it withdrew in 2005 but there were elections which were won by Hamas.  Fatah refused to cede power and a bitter civil war ensued in Gaza.  Hamas won and has been charge of Gaza since them- Fatah was driven out to the West Bank.  There have been no further elections.

That is totally wrong. The UN resolution of 2015 was to establish 2 states. Good to read is this also:

The Israeli ambassador's ads on tuk tuks campaign should have a decisive effect.  Hamas high heid yuns on gentlemen's trip to Bangkok will immediately relent and send the hostages back demanding nothing inexchange, not even a day of cease fire.

The UN resolution was to establish 2 states. Since it is not clear where the borders should be we have this awful status quo. And...only the group of terrorists called Hamas was attacking the occupants. Not civilians. And now we have the genocide by Israel. Sure, they learnt from the best🙏

The two-state thing goes back to 1947. One side refused it, one accepted. Guess which one got a state nowadays.

Was wondering who Walid Abu Ali is.  Apparently he's the Palestine ambassador to Malaysia and to the Maldives.  In other words, nothing to do with Thailand.

Maybe you should try reading and comprehending the article in the OP?

With the Thai embassy in Amman, Jordan, assuming control of diplomatic affairs with Palestine, the Palestinian embassy in Malaysia extends its reach to encompass Thailand.

FWIW, India also 'pools' their consular presence and resources across different countries in the same region.

Hope this helps.

This is not 'wrong', this is you showcasing your ignorance again.

The original lines were laid out in the 1947 Partition Plan. Nowadays, most references are to the 1967 lines. There is no mystery about any of it. The status quo is nothing to do with not knowing where the lines are.

As for your other bit of misinformation - the Hamas forces were followed by mobs of ordinary Gazans, these carried out looting, murders, rapes and all the rest just as well. This is not an opinion - but well documented facts.

There is no genocide other than in your mind and posts.
