National Parks Announce 2024 Seasonal Closures

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has issued an advisory for both local and international travelers about the seasonal closure of attractions in several of Thailand’s national parks. The National Park Office, under the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP), has initiated the annual closure for 2024, affecting 134 of the country's 156 national parks.

Thailand Triumphs Over Kyrgyzstan in Asian Cup Opener

The fare for a journey on the BTS Skytrain from Asoke to Minburi station has been set at 100 baht, causing uproar among Bangkok residents. They argue that it is nearly a third of the daily minimum wage and have started calling for the implementation of the 20 baht fare policy across all routes, previously promised by the government during the election campaign.

Robots enter service at Chulalongkorn Hospital to help with the paper work

Charter Court rules Saksayam’s ministerial post ended on March 3rd last year

The Constitutional Court ruled by 7 votes to 1 today that former Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob’s post as a minister ended on March 3rd last year, after it was discovered that he owned shares, through a nominee, in a construction company that was awarded a contract with a state agency.
