Seeking recommendations for UK TV and Sports streaming services

Can anyone please recommend a web based streaming service for UK TV and Sports Channels Worldwide 

 

Must haves:

Accessible via Macbook, IPad and iPhone 

Able to connect to a Set Top box

24 - 48 hour Catch Up with fast scrolling

 

Personal recommendations from established users preferred please.

You would give yourself options if you didnt limit yourself to apple. 

There are many good streaming services available for android devices. 

Particularly fire tv sticks and google chromecast, but i havent heard of any available on apple devices unless theyve been jailbroken.

Why would it need to be jailbroken? Surely all that is needed is an IPTV player. 
Not that I have any knowledge of these things. It just seems a logical step.

After posting, i realised there is for a start apple tv, and seeing as a lot of time has passed since i used an apple device there could be, by now a lot more. 

Its just that i found with android you get a hell of a lot more free choice with regards to what you can download. 

Especialy uk sports channels, which was the op's preference. 

eg. I bet sportsfire isnt available in the appstore.

Thanks. I’ve already got a good streaming service for my TV via a STB but I’m looking to view on my iPhone and iPad and Mscbook which is posing the problem
