The Education Ministry has decided to remove a post from its Facebook page showing a meeting between its minister and the North Korean ambassador to Thailand after it went viral and faced harsh criticism from netizens. However, the ministry kept the post on its website.

 

The post in question features photos of a meeting between Permpoon Chidchob and Ambassador Kim Je Bong on January 19 at the ministry. It stated that the envoy paid a courtesy call on the minister to congratulate him on his appointment last September.

 

The main discussion revolved around education in each country.

Just because the Education ministry has removed the post from their website, does not mean that it has been deleted forever.

 

I have no doubt that a few "concerned netizens" will have downloaded it.

So in summary having talks with the Russians about ?circumventing sanctions and supplying steel and generally kissing Putin's ass, making overtures to the Iranians, kow towing to the Chinese overlords and now tea and stickies with the North Koreans!

 

They say your friends say a lot about you and in Thailand's case none of it is good, very enlightening none the less!

We all know how Thailand operates... no surprises.

Seems Thailand's own Ministry of Truth is at work.

Thailand and North Korea have much in common. When you look at some of the laws here, and the way that political protesters are treated and sentenced to decades in prison, you realize that Thailand is anything but a democracy. 

The Thai Education minister would not know the difference between North & South Korea.

The Education Minister and the North Korean Ambassador to Thailand mutually agreed that the education systems of both countries are rather similar and plan to develop ties by educational exchanges.
 
According to the  Office of the Minister Newsline, Admiral Narong Pipatanasai, the Thai Education Minister, his Deputy Teerakiat Jareonsettasin, and Permanent Secretary Suthasri Wongsamarn met with Mun Song Mo, the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Korea on Friday at Government House.

I honestly see nothing scandalous in praising certain aspects of the countries with which one has diplomatic relations.

 

Moreover, since the corporate media lie about almost everything, it is very likely that they also lie about North Korea by exaggerating. 

 

I also find it pathetic that the post was deleted because groups of lifestyle leftists were irritated.

The post was removed by the very entity, the Ministry of Education, which made the post.

 

The self-censorship was done out of embarrassment.

Understandable, with yet another misleading headline. Note to whoever wrote it: The post was removed from Facebook. Removed suggests it was removed entirely. It was not.

Does the Thai Education Ministry seem to admire North Korea's role of education that upholds socialistic conformity?

After all, North Korea's literacy rate is 98-100 percent.
