The blue truck driver, publicly identified only as Mr. Sapanan, 44, appeared to be intoxicated and unintelligibly told the police that he allegedly did not know how he crashed into other vehicles and reportedly admitted that he drank alcoholic beverages “just a little“.

Insurance companies are gonna run all over the blue truck driver with claims.... not that he will have money to settle any of them.

IMO number 2 insurance should be compulsory. :coffee1:

Assuming the lorry was a company owned vehicle, in the UK the ministry would be crawling all over the company offices for evidence of whatever, first the good practice before work random alcohol records, then a multitude of questions about the driver records, it would be relentless, now let's look at over here, move the vehicles and all have a nice day.

If I had the choice of being on Thai roads or roads in the UK, I know where I'd rather be. Last time I looked, the death rate in Thailand was 10x that of the UK with a similar population number.
