Since pre-pandemic: Have you, yet, returned to your barber?

Are you saying that our Fellow TV Members are doormats, or dormice?

I can not abide such talk!

Read my post again, I was referring to myself refusing to be a doormat.

I knew what you were staying...but....

I just took your thought a step further.

Anyway.....

I never take praise or castigation, on this forum, to heart.

It's all good, Sir!

This IS the Farang Pub, after all....

One must take all....

In stride.

Folks:

As of today, I have not yet got up the gumption to return to my barber, ever since the pandemic reared its ugly head of hair.

Have you?

There has clearly been a great divide between pre-pandemic, pandemic, and post-pandemic times.

For one thing, I never really understood just how unimportant a barber might be, in the grand scheme of things.

And so, now that I have come to understand this important truth, I will never return to have my hair cut by someone in a hair salon.

Therefore, the question begs.....

Other than the decision to never return to a hair salon to have one's hair trimmed by a barber....

Then, what other unimportant things have you decided to forgo, besides the barber experience?

For me, there are many things that I once did before the pandemic, the things which I would not even think of doing now.

What about you?

How has the pandemic experience changed your habits and social behavior for the better?

Think about it.

I wanna know.

Regards,

Gamma

Note:  I am saving lots of money by cutting my own hair. I hope you are similarly saving money in this way, and in many other ways, too.

I was away during covid, but on coming back one of the first things I did was going to the barber. As for saving lots of money, I think getting a good haircut and a full shave for less than a 100 baht is the cheapest luxury you can get.

Are you serious? Most restrictions have been lifted in 2022 which was 2 years ago...

The day they said it was reopening I went there.

How does it feel like to be living in fear?

Covid 19 changed nothing to what I do and where I go.

Stop being a pussy and just live like before 2020.

a. I do not fear the barber.  She is nice.

b. I only fear the traffic in Thailand.

c. It's now easier to cut my hair myself.  The pandemic taught me.  Was this the only silver lining, do you think?

d.  Next time I am in her vicinity, I will stop in and have my haircut, for Bt.150. She does a very good job, in fact, and even better than I.
