Nonsan Strawberry Festival in Full Swing in Bangkok

BANGKOK (NNT) - The 2024 Nonsan Strawberry Festival is being held from now until February 18th at Siam Paragon Shopping Center.

 

Nonsan Strawberries, famous products from Nonsan city in the Southern Province of Chungcheong, South Korea, are making their first international debut in Bangkok.

 

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt participated in the opening ceremony and also hosted a wedding between Thai and Korean nationals as part of the festival.

 

The event features traditional Korean cultural performances and joint Thai-Korean dance shows, along with concerts from both Korean and Thai artists.

 

Additionally, there are booths showcasing agricultural products from Nonsan city, especially the globally renowned Nonsan strawberries. The Nonsan Strawberry Festival attracts tourists from all over the world.

 

Organizers chose Bangkok as the first international venue for the festival due to its popularity as a tourist destination worldwide.
