Former President Donald Trump made waves on Saturday by unveiling his latest venture: a sneaker line aptly named "Trump Sneakers." This move came hot on the heels of a New York judge's ruling ordering Trump and his companies to pay nearly $355 million in a civil fraud trial.

At Sneaker Con in Philadelphia, Trump proudly showcased the inaugural pair of "Trump Sneakers," dubbed the "NEVER SURRENDER HIGH-TOP SNEAKER." Priced at $399, these golden sneakers quickly sold out online, with 1,000 pairs made available for purchase. Additionally, Trump is offering two other sneaker designs featuring his iconic "T" logo and the number "45" for $199 each, along with cologne and perfume priced at $99 each.

While Trump's sneaker venture is marketed as a product of CIC Ventures LLC, the website clarifies that they are not officially endorsed or produced by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, or any affiliates. Rather, they operate under a licensing agreement with 45Footwear, LLC.

Not everyone was impressed by Trump's foray into the sneaker industry, however. Biden campaign spokesperson Michael Tyler derided Trump's appearance at Sneaker Con, likening it to the former president's distance from Air Force Ones and labeling the sneakers as "bootleg Off-Whites."

Following his Sneaker Con appearance, Trump is slated to address supporters in Michigan, marking his first public appearance since facing legal setbacks in New York. With his criminal trial scheduled for March 25 and recent financial judgments totaling over $438 million, Trump's visit to Michigan holds strategic significance ahead of the state's Republican primary. As the GOP nomination race heats up, Michigan serves as a pivotal battleground before the contest expands nationwide in March.
