Oh! And everybody knows Putin always tells the truth! 😀

How can an adult not know what's going on in the world and believe an 82 to 86yo is going to stop Putin :cheesy:

Grandpa will stop Putin. Here's some money Ukraine oh wait I need to lie to Americans and hope I get the funds :cheesy:

I suspect he knows the longer Biden keeps it up, wasting more resources (now running out of ammo), the more territory he can keep in the end, the better terms he'll get, and the weaker the USA will be. Biden is a weak negotiator as well, let Iran run all over him, screwed up Afghanistan, cut and ran.

He knows he'll win, as did anyone with much sense. Things were stable until Biden, with his love of Ukraine (cue Hunter) went over and blabbered about Ukraine joining NATO. SO stupid. And Biden could have headed off the whole thing by requiring Ukraine to make some concessions. Russia did have some complaints--that Russia obviously took seriously.

The Americans are stupid. Look at Vietnam, Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan. One mistake after another. Putin must be laughing his head off daily.

True. And let's not forget the Libya debacle. Hillary's baby!

Russia and China think 5,10,20 years ahead. Westerners are worried about pronouns. Putin will keep fighting the Ukraine for 5 to 7 years if he has too.

Putin can think that as long as the GOP under Trump's lead is able to oppose helping Ukraine.

It seems you forget that it's Trump who negotiated the peace deal with the Taliban. Xi and Putin certainly don't think Biden is weak. But Putin thought the U.S. was week because it was divided. He was partly right or partly wrong  depending on how you look at it.

I think it was also to remind Trump that Putin is the boss, in case Trump would forget about it.

Given Trump's lack of brain capacity and his ongoing mental problems I totally agree!

The GOP didn't oppose helping Ukraine and in fact wanted a lot MORE help from the very start. Biggest warmongers in Congress are members of the GOP.

You don't have a clue what you're talking about, just making it up as you go along, troll.

Not at all, and Trump will negotiate a peace deal over Ukraine as well. Most Americans supported the Taliban deal and will also support the Ukraine deal. But it was a conditional agreement. Biden didn't have to withdraw at all; he could have escalated if he'd so chosen.

Had Trump been in power at withdrawal time, it would have gone relatively well, instead of the botch job it turned out to be.

Good thing about Trump is that he isn't a warmonger. He wanted the USA out of Afghanistan, soon, and rightly so.

These Biden fans will never admit the truth. An 82 to 86yo Biden will not stop Putin. If a guy can't tie his shoelaces he can't provide war solutions.

It's funny how old guys in Thailand think Trump is a loser. What do they think of Thai people? What do they think of themselves? Renting some 10,000 a month condo and they have the solutions to Ukraine? They have the solutions to Mexico. Why aren't they working in a lead UN role?

Wrong. Conquering Kiev was never part of his objective. Nothing to do with Biden and especially nothing to do with NATO.

Advancing again as Ukraine is running out of manpower, so even if more weapons are thrown at Ukraine, they can't really use them. Their much touted (in the leftist, warmongering press) spring offensive inevitably failed. Soon as I heard all the hype, I knew it would.

Russia is just a larger, more powerful country. It was only a matter of time before Ukraine started giving way. Should have negotiated at the very beginning. Various reasons why that didn't happen I won't go into.

Another Biden disaster yet they keep trying to blame Trump for Biden being out of his depth yet again.

Yeah, these old Walter Mittys, Brits mainly, quaff a few Changs in their rented rooms while watching a game of footy, maybe toke some good weed, and then belly up to their keyboards to transform themselves into expert geopolitical strategists.

The neocons were war mongerers.

Have you not followed the news? Who's currently blocking funds for Ukraine, if not the GOP Trump/Putin wing?

If Biden hadn't withdrawned from Afghanistan, you would probably have called him a war mongerer. As you mentioned,  the American people wanted out, and Biden was stuck by Trump's deal.  Considering how badly the withdrawal had been prepared under Trump, it is certainly no clue that Trump could have done better.

Biden conducted the withdrawal. GOP have been pro war a lot. Lately they would rather save money. After 60 years of losing wars at least some people have a brain. Biden's brain doesn't work anymore.

Sure Kiev was never an objective, and that's why Putin attacked it!😅

Russia has more manpower and basic weapons, but advanced weapons can compensate for a lack of manpower. One of the main reason Ukraine was not successful is that a significant share of the pledged weapons was delivered too late (and still not all delivered yet).

Russia isn't stopping. Biden won't be able to function much longer. The war could outlive Biden.

You are playing with words.

The Taliban agreement was conditional, but the US was required to withdraw if the Taliban adhered to its obligations, which they did.

The US therefore was obligated to withdraw.

Which makes your post nonsense.

President Donald Trump ordered a rapid withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Afghanistan and Somalia in the wake of his 2020 election loss, but senior officials never followed through on the plan, according to testimony released by the congressional January 6 committee on Thursday.

“The order was for an immediate withdrawal, and it would have been catastrophic,” said Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., one of two Republican members of the special panel. “And yet President Trump signed the order.”

Reality is the opposite of your nonsense post. You seem to be remarkably misinformed. Or maybe just trying to rewrite history to make your Dear Leader look better.

Post some proof of this. Explain why an 81yo Biden can deal with a 71yo Putin? Putin grinds Biden and the Ukraine in the dust. The Soviets made blunders in ww2 then learnt the lesson, regrouped and hammered the Nazis. They will do the same here. An 81yo guy who can't get dressed without help can't stop Putin.
