If the American navy guys are on R+R should be treated as tourists and enjoy the delights Pattaya has to offer  😉 👍

But they aren't on R&R at all. They have a job to do that keeps them busy.

They can freely act as tourists whenever they've left the service and come back as tourists on their own dime.

More wish projection. As I said earlier, you can go hang around the piers if you wish.

I happen to know a Thai contractor who works closely with such events at the ports.

Did you get that intel from your "Thai contractor" friend? That "Thai contractor" is asking the navy boys a lot of questions. Why does he have such an interest in the navy boys and what they are doing here instead of just focusing on his job working at the ports?

Oh, common sense goes a long way. Go look up R&R, find out what it means, find out when it applies, and the last time any R&R leave has been reported. Then go read up on what Cobra Gold is, and see if fits the definition of R&R, LOL.

And do your own research. Go find all those imagined R&R military in the beer bars and go gos. WOT? Read the news accounts of all the "fun." WOT? Read the news about all the "encounters." WOT? Show the photos of the "action." WOT? Deafening silence. Now why is that? Figure it out.

But a job is a job, pal. You just gon' to suck it up (maybe appropriate, no?), take it or leave it. 'Nuff said.

In this day and age of extreme woke agendas, I doubt if these men are even allowed to venture into the fun zones. After all sex is a terrible thing, it results in all kinds of perversion, and it's just not healthy for young men to have sex. Sex is very very bad. Especially the no strings attached kind of sex. Totally immoral. And America is a highly moral nation, led by ememplary leaders.

They aren't. It's also a crime to pay a prostitute for sex.

The usual blather and imagined persecution, entirely missing the point.

What's immoral and also criminal--though you may disagree and believe it "healthy"--is sex trafficking, exploitation of poor and possibly underage girls, and use of prostitutes in crimes of corruption. Encouraging, implicitly condoning, or facilitating such activity, or even its appearance--these the new laws and regs are designed to prevent, after a number of high-profile events reflecting badly on the military.

Yah yah. It seems to have made good progress on this issue as concerns the military.
