Locked savings account dedicated to financing my daughter's education
Hello, I would like to open a remunerated savings account for my 14 years old daughter, who is Thai. The account will be dedicated to financing her future education at the university. Ideally, Iām looking for a locked account with a minimum term of 5 years, during which no withdrawals would be possible from anybody. Does such an option exist in Thailand? If not, are there any alternative solutions you would recommend? Thank you in advance for your advice! -

Transfer non-OA visa & extension stamp to new Passport - Chaeng Wattana
I suspect you're right although, about the TM30, I'm thinking that if I get one now for BKK and print it that should probably put that issue to bed. Yet I agree, still may not be enough. The only alternative I'm thinking to going to Samui is hiring an agent here in BKK. I've never done it, done all my extensions etc. myself over the years, but this could be a case where it's worth it to me. I assume they could do it at CW, they can get bigger things done with no apparent basis. -

Report Foreign Earnings Taxed Under New Thai Rules - But With Exceptions
The ugly face of falangism, referring everything they come across to greed. The more rational point of view, why should those that pay the correct tax subsidise those that don't want to pay; wouldn't cross the minds of many. -

Crime Pit Bull Attack Leaves Pattaya Residents in Fear as Dispute Over Dangerous Dogs Drags On
I noticed Russian motor cycle owners in Pratumnak have recently acquired pitfalls. Now the macho image is complete and it us; the quiet peace loving neighbours who will suffer. Pitfalls are genetically produced to fight, which they do; often ripping and tearing people to death. It's a weekly occurrence in the British newspapers. It's a common event that police cannot control. -

First 90 day in-person reporting - are the rules different for it?
For whatever reason, my first 90-day report had to be done in person. My online submission was rejected. However, my past two 90-day reports have been successfully submitted online since then. -

Transfer visa/extension stamp to new Passport - Suvarnabhumi airport Immigration
They DO NOT move extensions of stays from one passport to another one at the airport, You can stamp OUT on a new passport, you can stamp back IN on one, and they will note that your valid extension/re-entry is in the old passport. They will NOT move extension of stay stamps or re-entry permits at the airport, that is done at the office where you got the extension
