While a few might suddenly be easy to join for foreigners, I worry about the platform integrity. Anyone using crypto.com as a foreigner in Thailand with no issues getting set-up ? You are correct and I never do anything otherwise. ALWAYS immediately withdraw any buys to a self custody hardware wallet and can never understand why anyone would do anything differently. Unless they were actively trading of course, but even then only trading tokens should be left on exchange. The bulk of your crypto should be in your own control or what's the point? Here in Phuket I didn't try one yet, few of them are based in Bangtao which is a bit far from my south location, will check them out sooner or later. If you do try Bangtao do feel free to provide feedback, as rather clueless these days as don't generally socialise with the crypto folk on the island. I just don't share publicly as i've often found they get stampeded and you then loose your ability to use them as they then introduce much stricter processes and requirements to be a client. i.e they have the pick of the litter.
