I noticed it a few weeks ago and swiftly changed to using a local debit card instead. I don't understand the Shopee link... Their answer was a complete word salad: Don't understand their reply but unless I'm mistaken the platform fee is not new and applies only to GrabTaxi. This is Grab's fee on top of the metered fare.
