Popular Post Social Media
Ralph Reed's Faith & Freedom Coalition is gearing up for a robust political spending spree in the upcoming 2024 election cycle, with a primary objective of securing Donald Trump's return to the White House. The conservative-leaning organization plans to allocate a staggering $62 million towards activities such as registering and mobilizing evangelical voters, utilizing direct voter contact strategies, and distributing literature across churches, particularly in battleground states. This significant investment highlights the steadfast alliance between the white evangelical community and Trump, despite ongoing legal challenges, including a forthcoming trial related to hush money payments. As Trump faces financial constraints compared to President Biden's well-funded campaign, outside groups like Reed's are poised to play a crucial role in bolstering his candidacy. With the Republican National Committee also facing financial limitations, conservative organizations are rallying behind Trump, recognizing his status as the presumptive nominee. Faith & Freedom's voter outreach efforts are strategically focused on newly registered evangelical voters and those identified as low-propensity voters. Leveraging its extensive network of staff, volunteers, and church liaisons, the organization aims to emphasize key issues such as abortion, Israel, and education policy, drawing a clear contrast between Trump and Biden. Reed's longstanding influence in conservative circles, coupled with Faith & Freedom's organizational capacity, underscores the significant role these groups play in shaping political outcomes. Despite Trump's equivocation on certain issues, particularly regarding a national abortion ban, Reed reaffirms his organization's unwavering support for the former president, citing Trump's pro-life stance as a cornerstone of evangelical backing. As the 2024 election cycle unfolds, Faith & Freedom Coalition's substantial investment signals the enduring impact of evangelical voters on American politics and underscores the pivotal role of conservative advocacy groups in shaping electoral outcomes. 12.03.24 Source 1

Popular Post herfiehandbag
It does seem bizarre that "evangelicals" would be espousing a chap who has been adjudicated by a civil court (jury) as having committed rape, a self confessed dirty old man who openly boasts of groping women, and who is shortly going on trial for paying "hush money" to a porn star! Still there are " non so queer as folk" ( are you still allowed to say that in the southern parts of the USA)! It also rather convinces me that "white evangelical Christianity" takes little from the teachings of Our Blessed Lord! American conservativism is really being held up to the light by the DT chapter of US history. Not just because of him directly, but by others on his side. For example, the recent SCOTUS judgement about not keeping DT off the ballot was defended by justices who claim to be originalists even though there is no original text for them to point to for backing up this judgement. This is just one example. All of the three justices appointed under 45 lied right there at the appointment hearings, at least one of them smirked while doing so. On the bright side, it would appear one of them might be suffering a crisis of conscience and I'm hoping she does something brave. 1

If the GOP could come up with a better option than Trump I'm sure they'd back them instead. When faced with a choice between a deeply flawed man and the devil incarnate, there is no choice at all. 3 1 1

He could become the autocrat that killed democracy as we know it. Such a waste! One would think that the Democratic Party would find someone better than Biden/Harris to ensure a Democratic victory in November. After all, Donnie boy only won before because so many dems voted against Hillary...I would imagine that many Republican voters will vote against Trump anyway and most women probably too so anyone Democrat running could probably win in a landslide. Of course Trump's army is already listening to him say the only way he could lose is through fraud! what a joke of a candidate for such a high position. 1 1

Maybe, the best thing that can happen for Biden is that Trumpy gets immunity from the SCOTUS. Because if Presidents are immune to prosecution - Biden can personally and legally kill Trump in whatever manner he wishes - and be immune as well! Biden could then relinquish the Presidency - and the USA would be saved! Yes? 2 2
Popular Post spidermike007
It is astonishing to me that this man is still around and that he is still wielding this level of influence. What's even more astounding is the Christians actually believe in this man and consider him to be a man of faith. I just can't even imagine who this man really is, but I doubt that he's a real practicing Christian, nor a man of virtue. 2

Like a meme that made the rounds when Trump was still president and Elizabeth still the queen -- the meme claimed that, thanks to some medieval English law still on the books, the English monarch had the right to dispatch any visitor with a broadsword should the visitor be deemed “damaging to the monarchy.” (Trump did visit the UK and met with Elizabeth.)

Yes I am a Biden supporter by default, I don't particularly think he's a great president but I don't think he's a bad president, I think he's too old for the job but I think Trump's too old for the job. I do think he's a decent man and I think Trump is fairly close to the devil incarnate, so I'm not left with much of a choice. Trump would steal the sweater off the back of his grandmother if given an opportunity and he could profit from it. 3

Well said I did not support Biden in the 2020 primaries because he gave up his slot to Hillary (she had a deal with Obama, her support when he run, for the slot at the end of Obama's presidency) ,and consequently they gave us Trump for four years, an unmitigated disaster that the US can not afford to repeat. But when he got the nomination , given the other choice , I supported Biden enthusiastically. Now we have a similar situation, and the narrative the republicans have been successful in propagating put's us in danger of another disastrous trump presidency. But I dont think Biden is too old. As a 66 year old man I can tell you that age has and affect, but with it also comes wisdom, and experience. An there is no one in the political field with more experience than BIden. So what is the main responsibility of a President? To preside , set the tone, initiate policy, represent america abroad. No one has more contacts around the world or is more respected than Biden, No one!! So if elected I think he would be a fine president. And again I will support him enthusiastically.
