Am I required to change the Visa type from NON-O to NON-B after a Work Permit was issued?

If you  planto apply for a one-year extension at immigration, you need to change it in order to be extended on the basis of business category.

If you are on multiple entry Non-Immigrant visa and planning to exit and enter every 90 days, you don't need to change. In that case apply for a new NON-B multiple next time you travel out to obtain a new visa.

I am not married to a Thai but support my son. That's why I am on NON-O. Yes, I plan to extend my 1y multiple to 1y in Suan Phlu. Any recommendations are appreciated.
