Social Media
Democratic strategist James Carville recently voiced concerns about what he perceives as an overrepresentation of "preachy females" within the Democratic Party, suggesting that this could be contributing to President Biden's declining support among key voters, particularly males. In an interview with New York Times opinion columnist Maureen Dowd, Carville expressed apprehension about the party's messaging and culture, which he believes may not resonate with male voters. Carville's remarks centered on what he sees as a feminine-centric message within the Democratic Party, characterized by an emphasis on issues like healthy living, environmentalism, and social responsibility. He suggested that this messaging could alienate male voters who may feel marginalized or overlooked by the party's focus on certain issues. Carville also criticized what he perceives as a lack of consideration for male voters in the party's discourse, particularly among Democratic elites. Regarding President Biden's declining approval ratings, Carville humorously compared the situation to an uncomfortable encounter, indicating his unease with the current state of affairs. Despite his concerns, Carville emphasized his personal affinity for Biden, praising the president's tenacity, down-to-earth demeanor, and track record in addressing issues affecting Black Americans. Carville's comments come amidst broader discussions about the Democratic Party's outreach to voters of color, with recent polls showing a decline in support among Black and Hispanic voters. The Biden campaign has intensified efforts to engage these demographics, launching targeted ads and initiatives aimed at bolstering support among minority communities. As Carville raises questions about the party's messaging and strategy, the Democratic Party faces ongoing challenges in maintaining support among diverse voter demographics. 26.03.24 Source
Popular Post JonnyF
While clumsily worded, Carville has a point. The Dems need to focus on issues affecting normal Americans, not indentity politics, trans issues, reparations and other Woke nonsense. As for the black vote, while they can try and buy that with reparations, it doesn't help matters when Biden calls young successful black men "boy" and tells them if they vote Trump, they ain't black. No wonder the polls are showing Trump leading, despite all the court cases designed to stop him. 2
thaibeachlovers
Carville may be correct, but that's not going to stop him being consigned to woke "hell". Men need to know their place in this brave new world of ours. Sarcasm alert for the humour challenged. 1

Like jobs, the economy, healthcare costs, standing up for democracy and standing with America’s allies. That kind of thing?!
bamnutsak
From the article “A suspicion of mine is that there are too many preachy females … ‘Don’t drink beer, don’t watch football, don’t eat hamburgers, this is not good for you,'” he said. “The message is too feminine: ‘Everything you’re doing is destroying the planet. You’ve got to eat your peas.'” "Suspicion"? Don't think he named any of these "preachy females"? Anyone who's seen his recent whiteboard videos realizes he's gone 'round the bend. I get it, he's rightly worried that trump will win so he's trying to pull the alarm. Can't wait to hear him weigh in on the Kim Mulkey "hit-piece" coming in the WaPo.
