I've been touring Pattaya for an hour or so. Not much going on except chinese tourists going up and down walking street with guides and old people watching tv in pubs. It's 9:30pm now. When do things get started?

Found some on beachroad but terrible quality. So no. I just want a fun bar with ladies who don't look zombie bored. Anyways it won't be for tonight. I'm bored now. Headed home after my beer. Might have hit the town too early.

Try Soi 6 between beach road and second road or LK Metro and Soi Bukhow (however you spell it) or one of the many "gentlemen's clubs", does depend on what you want though.

Except soi 6 I have been everywhere. Buhakhao and WS. Many bored girls and empty place. Many old people in pubs. That where I landed eventually. Watching football. I hate it but at least it lively 😄🥳

Try LK Metro. Walking street is a late start, 23:00-2400; Chiyapum is also active. Soi 6, should go early, 6 or 7pm, good ones disappear quickly.

I suggest you better spend your vacation in Davos if you even cannot find the hot spots in a city as Pattaya

That's because Chinese tourists do not spend money for evening activities except to walk around taking photos of the fun everyone else is having.

Action of various sorts is available 24/7 in Pattaya.

I suggest the OP may have been touring with his eyes and ears closed.

 

I've just walked up soi Lengke and 3 bars are open with customers drinking. It's 8:30 am. Same bars only closed at 2 am.🤪

Action usually starts shortly after entering your room with girl(s) or ladyboy(s). When it ends is up to your strength and imagination - and your wallet. 

The whole place is a fools paradise, the girls usually hate you, they are just good actors.

And for a moment I thought you were asking about the water splashing ,baby powder in your mouth and nose action. I am still traumatized from the one year I didn't flee Thailand over Songkran.

They do get pretty excited about the prospect of the cash flow. That accounts for the good acting. 

Otherwise their acting is abysmal, especially the fake moaning.

If you're not having fun in Pattaya just spend more money.  Go forth into that herd of bored, sullen bar girls and make it rain.  All of your frowns will be turned upside down.  You'd be amazed at what the girls will let you do in an empty bar.  

 

Last year I was in a bar on Buakhao in the wee hours of the morning, long past the official 2am closing time.  One punter was passed out on a bench 2m away from me. An enterprising girl extracted his gizzard from his shorts and woke him up.  The drunkard let her finish the job, threw 200 baht at her and ran off into the night.  The girl rinsed out her mouth with sangsom and was happy to have the extra money.  The rest of the women shouted that he should have paid more.  It was the best laugh I'd had in a while.

Then "clubs" like Republic or MYST are for you.

The usually don't open before 11 PM.

(I don't speak from experience but from Instagram).

I am a boring old fart and the action around Soi Buakhao/LK etc. at 10 PM is enough for me.

But I agree that many places are quiet now even at that time (was in Pattaya until last week).
