Popular Post webfact Posted April 1 Popular Post Share Posted April 1 Authorities from Phetchaburi Police Station executed an arrest warrant for Jakraphong 'Tong' Bamrungwong, following a warrant issued by Bang Bon District Court. The charge: fraud. Bamrungwong, caught after voluntarily contacting investigators, was allegedly orchestrating visa scams targeting Chinese workers, charging them 20,000 Baht each, reported Siam Rath. Picture: Siam Rath Victims claimed he vanished after receiving payment. Further investigations revealed multiple victims across various provinces. Bamrungwong, who fled to Samut Sakhon Province, was apprehended before surrendering. Additional victims within Chai Phatthana, Nonthaburi and Phra Samut Chedi districts were identified. Phetchaburi Police encourage others to report similar incidents. Probably he contacted the police to say he was going to surrender, but they thought it would look better for them if they went and arrested him instead.
