Best to visit the local office that issues house books & asking what they require for issuing a yellow book.

Yeah they always last for 4 weeks, I bought a new car once and the lazy dealership took more than 4 weeks to submit the registration.....then it became my problem again and I had to get another one.

It's pathetic.

Yes...I can see that happening to us if we don't get the timing right.

Yep, I gave up when they told us what was needed.

The fact we have to go to BKK is keeping my interest in doing it......555

After obtaining my first Thai drivers license 22 years ago and renewing it 4 times since I've now been informed that I need a certificate of residence. I still have the same address. I've never had a certificate of residence before, that's why I'm rather bewildered.

My first one was for my licence....took five minutes.

Not. My record for lodging a TM30 or getting a re-entry permit at CM immigration, both 3 hours.

Thank Buddha the TM30 can now be updated online now.

My worst one was like two days...six hours of driving.....we had to take three sets of neighbours to be interviewed before a they would issue a marriage extension.....and we had been married for 14 years...????
