32.95 of the voters are convinced that the Swiss guy will stay in Thailand and
67.05 are convinced that the Swiss guy will be forced to leave Thailand.

Nearly a 50/50 vote.

A better way of saying that is that twice as many people will think he will leave as stay

32.95 vs 67.05 I not sure how you can state Nearly  a 50/50 vote  as the difference is 34.1%

Math was never my strongest point.

Recalculating the outcome would be 1/3 stay and 2/3 leave

And it is a guess what the officials will do to him or not. So I guess he will have to leave, just for the sake of it, as making an good example for the rest of us
