The Theory
I have recently bought a new Ranger WT. This is my 1st Diesel car/truck. B20 recomended by Ford. Is there any other type of diesel that could be used besides B20 without damaging fuel hoses, fuel filter and... ?
Popular Post AndyAndyAndy
Basically: higher number= sh1tier Diesel. Your sticker says B20 MAX meaning that you can use B7, regular Diesel (which is B10) and B20. Not anything above, like B30. Since the price of B7 and Diesel (B10) is the same I would recommend using B7. Edited April 13 by AndyAndyAndy 3 2

Not anything above, I googled and what I understood was B20 = 20% cooking oil. Is that right ?

Not that I would entertain the use of palm oil for cooking purposes. "In Thailand, biodiesel is mostly produced from crude palm oil (CPO), although Thai manufacturers also use refined bleached and deodorized palm oil (RBDPO), palm stearin and other vegetable oils"

Well considering it is the recommended fuel for the vehicle in question on what grounds does the manufacture have to deny a warranty claim ? to keep you in the loop, the Ford Ranger does not use a cummins engine.
