European (German) expat and long term resident of Thailand urgently requires O-Negative blood donation. He has recently undergone a series of cardiac related procedures and urgently requires another one next week but doesnt have enough blood. The Thai Red Cross have been contacted and have stated they have no O negative in stock. Any blood donation will be done at the hospital in bangkok. Does your friend actually need O-neg or will his own blood-group suffice (we need to know what it is).

What is the maximum donor age that the Thai RC will accept n such circumstances? Do they waive the normal limit?
