I am heading off to Poi Pet in about a week to complete my first voa run after my TV and extension have expired. Is it still possible to go in and out on the same day, and if so, what's this requirement for an airline ticket?

If anybody has been to Poi Pet recently I would love to know what's going on.

Ajack, as nobody has had the time to reply, I can make some

humble suggestions. Most of the visa run companies seem to be

going to the Ban Laem checkpoint. I think they've been having

some difficulties at Aranyaprathet. Last I heard, they were selling

a 200 THB bus ticket to Siem Reap as proof of onward travel.

You might want to make some phone calls or do some reading.

I don't endorse the tour companies, but it's an ironic reality only

they possess first hand recent knowledge of any changes. :o
