In the peaceful province of Phang Nga, a gruesome discovery has shocked the local residents. On the morning of May 15, the lifeless body of an unidentified foreign man was found on a roadside near Ban Na Road in Takua Thung district. Following the grim discovery, Sub-District Chief Yutthanakorn Juanjenkit connected with officers from Khok Kloi Police station.

Embattled Move Forward Party Given another Lifeline by Constitutional Court

In an unprecedented turn of events, the Constitutional Court has bestowed a respite on the beleaguered Move Forward party. Today, they granted a third and final 15-day extension, lasting until 2nd June, for the party to prepare its defence against the Election Commission's call for the court to dissolve it.

Thailand’s Business Confidence Declines Amid Wage Hike Worries

Business confidence in Thailand has taken a notable dip as the latest Thai Industries Sentiment Index (TISI) dropped in April, highlighting mounting concerns among entrepreneurs over economic pressures, notably a proposed increase in the daily minimum wage. The TISI recorded 90.3 points in April, a drop from March's 92.4 points, according to the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).

Activists call for bail rights for those accused of political crimes

Today, renowned political activists Panusaya Sithijirawattanakul and Patsaravalee Tanakitvibulpon handed in a petition to the government. They called for the provision of bail and a clear investigation into activist Netiporn Sanesangkhom aka "Bung Thalu Wang's" death, who was in judicial custody. They also requested a swift enactment of an amnesty law to cover all political criminals.
