Best Recommended Endocrinologist/Hospital in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hoping the ever helpful Sheryl will comment on this.

A recent health checkup, which included a thyroid ultrasound, picked up a number of (5 or 6) nodules on my thyroid gland. The largest nodule measured 2.4cm and the TIRADS ratings for the nodules ranged from 1 to 4. I immediately sought a consultation with an endocrinologist in the same hospital and he recommended a biopsy of the largest nodule as a minimum. He also mentioned that even if the nodules were benign, surgery may be necessary if the nodules continue to grow.

With the prospect of possible surgery in the near future, I'm looking for the very best endocrinologist/hospital recommendations in Bangkok.

Thanks in advance.

Thyroid nodules are common and most are benign. I have them myself. If

(as is usually the case)  no need to do anything more unless symptoms develop.

The biopsy is nothing, a simple office procedure under local anesthesia.
