Popular Post snoop1130 Posted June 3, 2024 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2024 A 20-year-old man from Thailand turned himself in to the police in Pattaya after a video of him undertaking a dangerous motorbike stunt in the Pattaya Central Tunnel went viral. His stunt involved riding his motorbike with the front wheel raised. The video created a buzz on social media. The man, who the police only identified as Mr. Wachirawit, surrendered at the Pattaya Police Station at 8 PM on June 2nd. He admitted to being the rider in the viral video and accepted he carried out the risky wheelie. Mr. Wachirawit explained he was fascinated by the new lighting in the tunnel and wanted a video of him performing the stunt amidst the lights. He knew that motorbikes were not allowed in the tunnel, but he chose to ignore the rules to get the desired footage. His friend filmed the stunt, according to Mr. Wachirawit. He was surprised when the video went viral and wasn't sure how it got shared beyond his close friends. Pol. Col Nawin Theerawit, the Chief of Pattaya Police Station, stated that Mr. Wachirawit's antics could lead to as many as five charges. These include reckless driving, unlicensed driving, disobeying a traffic sign, driving in a prohibited area, and not having a visible registration plate. The police have detained Mr. Wachirawit for legal proceedings. His white Yamaha R7, used in the stunt, has been confiscated. Obviously, accidents can happen, but in general guys who know how to ride wheelies are a lot better riders than most other riders. I prefer a wheely guy on the street compared to many of the usual delivery riders who play with their phones. 2 2 1 1

Did you ever drive too fast or maybe over a yellow light? Did you cross the street when you shouldn't? Should your car be crashed, or you or what do you think is appropriate? Nobody was harmed in the stunt above. 2 2

And all the other (traffic) lawbreakers should also be fined. I see all the time riders and drivers playing with their mobile phone. Fine them! And lots of riders and drivers ignore zebra crossings. Fine them! Personally, I think the risk from the "stunt rider" is lower than from the average idiots who play with their phones.

ignore it Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 I'm not into bikes so I looked it up. "How much is a Yamaha R7 in Thailand? The goggle said. 339,000 THB (บาท)" So this 20 year old boy is either a facebook/ticktik/youtube influencer/star or mama and papa ain't too happy. But maybe he'll get visitation rights down at the impound lot.

I thought like this just yesterday ....a kid weaving and going very fast behind, then in front of me...I thought him a skillful rider, but you have to say it is still reckless and puts other road users at risk. Personally I would prefer the slower guys, you kind of know what to expect. Such reckless morons should go play on a track, or kill themselves off quickly. 1
