Yes, he should keep his mouth shut about that whilst it is against the rules of his paymaster. If he doesn't like it, find a new paymaster who will tolerate it.

Whilst you keep spouting BS, I will keeps (see what I did there?) pulling you up on it. Free speech and all that.

Does that about cover it?

So you agree with my assessment of your concept, that he should be silent because he gets paid a lot of money. Paymaster....lol

It must burn you to realise that they don't have a problem with it. YOU have a problem with it.

Perhaps you should have read the article properly. He states he understands the rules perfectly....because he helped to write them.

Good on Gary.  One positive result of a new Labour government will be less foaming-at-the-mouth outrage from the BBC haters.

  • Three cheers for Gary Lineker. Best football commentator by a mile and with a  functioning moral compass into the bargaining. The BBC doesn't get better than Gary Lineker. Great footballer too.

I think you will find that was my concept from the outset - yes, he should be silent on this matter in accordance with the rules of his paymaster.

They do have a problem with it as they have voiced several times. They just haven't had the plums on them yet to bin him off which they should do (but won't as the Euros have just started).

Perhaps he understands the rules but chooses to ignore them which in any other role would most likely result in dismissal.

Keep digging....

Are you an extremist? You don't seem to be able to accept any position other than your own.

So you think the vast amounts of money should suffice for him to keep his mouth shut. Effectively buying his silence.

It sounds like you've never had a job. When you have a job you get paid, and you have to follow the rules of those who pay you. Or go get a different job. Simple concept (for most people)

He understands the rules....and that's why he's still there.

Are you one of those who agrees with 'cancel culture'? 😊

I had jobs, but I stuck to my principles and then I ran my own businesses.

So no, I wasn't ever a 'sheep'. Sounds like you were/are.

He is still there because he was captain of England, BBC doesn't want to ruffle feathers, but most out there know our Gary is a tool, and so are his supporters...😉

I suppose Sparktrader/bignok/uttaradit/Dolf was due to put in a reappearance soon. Probably scraped a few dollars together and popped back for a month.

Birds of a feather....really scraping the barrel. Is that it? Is that the best you can honestly do?

I most certainly do have a point, not argument, but you carry on stomping and hissing, it is amusing, even if you are into "petal" things...😘

Obviously that one went past me. Can you explain?

Oh....it's your making up past identities for me. 😊

I was responding to a post claiming 274 were dead. The IDF says otherwise, can you tell me which is right? Thought not, nor can I, but why believe only the Hamas figure and why claim it was only civilians killed when there were also terrorists killed?

"why claim it was only civilians killed".

A claim that was made only in your mind. You were brushing over the dead, no denying that.
