snoop1130
The Thai Government has started a project where they will rent out government-owned land to citizens in nine regions, with an aim to improve their living conditions. This initiative, led by the Ministry of Finance, is expected to help about 1,900 people over the next six months, by covering over 2,767 acres of land. The Deputy Finance Minister of Thailand, Paophum Rojanasakul, revealed this project, named "Thanarak Auea Ratcha" or "Treasury for the People", showing Thailand’s commitment to tackling problems related to housing and farming land. The project's goal is to make use of unused government-owned land, which is managed by several government organizations, to offer affordable lease to residents. This should improve their access to public facilities and services. The project will take place in nine regions: Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Sawan, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Pattani, Ratchaburi, and Surat Thani. The plan is to finish allotting these lands in the next six months. According to Paophum, the aim of this initiative is to provide stability and improve the quality of life for the people. By offering affordable and adaptable land leases, the government hopes that more people will have secure housing and farming land, which is seen as a crucial part of a stable life. The rental rates for residential land are set to be 0.25 baht per month for every square wah for plots up to 100 square wah, and 0.50 baht per month for larger plots. For farming land, the cost is 20 baht per year for each rai for plots up to 50 rai, and 30 baht for larger plots. All the lease contracts will last three years, with a chance to extend them to 30 years if the tenant wishes to.
