Thanks. No joke, but a few years ago I accidentally got some of that bathroom cleaning chemical on my skin on my body and broke out in a serious and inflamed deep red rash that was a bit painful and itchy. Took a couple of weeks of applying hydrocortisone cream to to it 2-3 times per day to get rid of it.

Since then I've stopped using all of those harsh chemicals around the home completely. Even the fumes are very toxic to breathe in. I threw them all away.

I now clean everything with clear white vinegar. It works as good, if not better than any bathroom cleaner. Mix it half/half with dish washing liquid and put it in a spray bottle. Then spray it on anything and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. Then rinse it off with cold water and everything is removed; lime scale, mold, fungus, dirt, etc. Great for faucets, tile walls, toilets, glass shower doors, mirrors, etc. Natural and non/toxic and 3 liters for only 60 Baht.

I bought my condominium real cheap.

I saw lots of big advertisement for luxury condominiums with lines like: Starting from only 16 million THB.

I paid less than half of that, what a great price. 😉

I bought these exercise bands 200 baht each. Use them 6 days a week anywhere. Can feel my arms and shoulders getting strong. Can take on bus, train, plane. I was surprised to see even powerlifters use them. Tie to tree for rows. Put under feet for shoulder press.

Whats the best cheap purchase you have made?

Those exercise bands are a great thing to have.  Well done on using them.

The S7ven Ratchada Hotel. 700 Baht a night on Agoda. Great back Soi location not far from The Street Ratchada. 7-11 walking distance. Comfy king size bed. Big flat screen TV (BYO porn on a thumb drive). Car parking. Big bathroom. Refrigerator. Good air-con. Free drinking water. Free coffee. Free WiFi. Free shower gel. Clean towels. The place is spotless. The bees knees. A long-timers dream.

"700 Baht a night on Agoda." that would be plus the 17% Taxes.

I a getting 906 Baht all in.....

Try July 15th for one night. I'm getting 718 Baht all in. It changes from day to day. Booking a few days in advance is usually less.

I noticed that as a relatively new poster that you start a new post every day.

My question is, "are you in solitary confinement somewhere and desperate to talk to someone(anyone)" ? Or perhaps just a people person that just loves to chat?

Please carry on because you always come across as a happy friendly individual.

I'm getting 718 Baht in the app. May have something to do with membership tier. Anyway, close enough.

Are you on VPN with a Western IP address? Best to always use Thai IP. Prices tend to be lower for domestic users. In fact, many travel sites serve different prices based on user location. It may not change much if logged into an existing account, but anonymous users often find location helps with pricing.

I used the 10% hour discount no change. I think the prices are based on Algo. I will check again.

Great. What time should I meet you there?

Booking and Agoda are owned by the same parent company. Also, need to be careful though. Some sites don't show final price with taxes until last screen. Agoda shows final price up front. Trip.com is trickier and shows cheap price at first and then adds tax at checkout.

The 10%, 1-2 hour discount has never made any difference for me. I stopped using it.

I agree. You can train angles that are impossible with free weights. Great for shoulders. Great for forearms.

I just tried Booking forJuly 15th for one night via the app. For me it was higher. That site also doesn't add taxes until checkout, but at least lists them up front. I also got two different prices based on one adult versus two adults staying in the room. About 80 Baht higher for two adults.
