What is this border czar nonsense? There is no border czar position in the US government. The claims of such are an attempt to promote  a false narrative. VP Harris had no authority over border security, nor did she have any involvement. To argue otherwise is to ignore the powers  allowed by the US Constitution.

Fact: Border security laws are enacted by the US Congress.

Fact: The US Vice president has no legal authority, nor mandate to act on border security. It is the responsibility of the Secretary for Homeland Security.

 

It was the Trump faction that stopped the bipartisan border security bill that would have provided $20 billion for border security and immigration enforcement. The Democrats had agreed to the Republican key demands.  The block was done solely to further the problems at the border.
